Then, Now, and the Future The Ongoing Vision of the Llano County Library

Everyone in the community is invited to this special program to learn about how the wonderful library we all enjoy and love now  was just a dream of the women in the Culture Club in 1902. Judye Stewart, Culture Club member, will share how the library had a start in members' homes and in various businesses in Llano before the first library was built by the Public Works Administration on the southwest corner of the Courthouse Square in 1939. Llano Library Director Tommi Myers will speak about the Library's growth and the new building before sharing some of the ideas for the future of the Llano County Library. Dian Ray, former Library Director, will also be recognized posthumously for her contributions to the Library.
