Landscape water requirements can sometimes be very expensive, not just on the budget but in long term effects on water quality and availability.  Considering the hot summer we are encountering here in Central Texas, understanding water requirements of specific plants is a must.  Wade Hibler's Green Thumb presentation at Lakeshore Library on Friday, June 27 at noon will look at the separate water requirements of turf grass, trees and flower beds and establish a plan to provide needed water that is both timely and adequate.  From sprinkler to drip irrigation and native plant to adapted plants requirements, a water use plan will help all make it to the next rain. Master Gardeners and the general public are welcome. Light refreshments will be served. Please call the library at 325-379-1174 to reserve a seat.
