Vaquero: Genesis of the Texas Cowboy @ Llano County Historical Museum

Bring the family to enjoy Llano's history at our wonderfully remodeled Llano County Historical Museum right on the bridge!  This building that was once Bruhl's Drugstore still boasts the original soda fountain & counter and the museum houses impressive military, unique polo exhibits and much more!

Vaquero: Genesis of the Texas Cowboy  - will be at the Llano County Historical Museum January 22 - February 19th.  This is a special exhibit created by the Wittliff Collections at the Alkek Library, Texas State University presented in partnership with Humanities Texas, the state affiliate for the National Endowment for the Humanities.

The exhibit, which will be free of charge to the public, will also include historic saddles, boots and spurs from several of Llano County’s ranching families.
