Eagles' Nest 2011-2012
On State Highway 29 West, the same family of eagles rebuild their home, have their babies, and hunt and fish along the Llano River. They have been gracious enough to maintain their residence just off the highway so we can all entertain ourselves with the habits and antics of this feathered family. Please be aware that this is a two-lane highway, and you must watch for the fast traffic in that area, and for others pulling over and reentering the roadway. The nest itself is on private ranchland, but you are welcome to view them from outside the fence. Happy viewing!
