Every Monday, join us for a hands-on session where you'll explore the fundamentals of drawing, color mixing, and techniques in both oil and acrylic painting. Whether you're a beginner looking to learn the basics or an experienced artist aiming to hone your craft, Jan's personalized instruction will guide you through every step. Come for the art, stay for the inspiration!

ABOUT JAN HULEN: Jan Hulen's first painting experience was with watercolors. She always had a love of art and painting, even though her education in the parochial schools of earlier years left her with little or no formal art training. After her children were grown and gone, she had more free time to begin painting at a local art studio in Wisconsin. Through L'atelier, she worked with many noted watercolorists and took weekly classes. After retiring with her husband in the Hill Country, she felt she needed a different medium to portray the Texas landscape. Even though changing to oils, she still retains her loose and colorful style. She agrees with Renoir, the French Impressionist, who said, "Why not paint pretty paintings? The world is filled with ugliness."

Wayne Hancock at Sundown

Sundown, Llano

Wayne Hancock LIVE at Sundown.
*********$20 cash at the door********
Since his stunning debut, Thunderstorms and Neon Signs in 1995, Wayne “The Train” Hancock has been the undisputed king of Juke Joint Swing–that alchemist’s dream of honky-tonk, western swing, blues, Texas rockabilly and big band. Always an anomaly among his country music peers, Wayne’s uncompromising interpretation of the music he loves is in fact what defines him: steeped in traditional but never “retro;” bare bones but bone shaking; hardcore but with a swing. Like the comfortable crackle of a Wurlitzer 45 jukebox, Wayne is the embodiment of genuine, house rocking, hillbilly boogie.
