Llano's Dickens of a Christmas Festival December 2-4, 2022.
The festival will recreate the time of Charles Dickens using historic downtown Llano's charming architecture as the backdrop. A variety of musicians and Dickens characters will fill the streets. Expect to see and interact with Ebenezer Scrooge, Tiny Tim and the rest of the Cratchit family from A Christmas Carol; and of course, a Victorian Father and Mother Christmas with treats for children.
Have Breakfast with Santa, decorate Christmas cookies, make a Christmas craft, try your skill at games, take a carriage ride around town and shop the variety of arts and crafts vendors. The adults will enjoy a Wine Swirl while shopping our local businesses on the square. Be sure to take in the Dickens of a Home Tour of festively decorated beautiful homes in Llano. In the evening the annual Lighted Christmas Parade will thrill the little ones. Afterwards head to Badu Park for the Starry Starry Night walk-through of lights or enjoy a Dinner Theater production of Bah Humbug.
The festival will close on Sunday with an Afternoon Tea and Victorian Fashion Show.
