Llano Heritage Day – June 3, 2023

Come to Llano, Texas land of legend and lure and visit with Buffalo Soldiers and frontiersmen as they tell the story of how they protected the hill country and helped settle the area. Take a real stage-coach ride around town, tour the historic Red Top Jail, historic Llano County Courthouse, and Llano County Historical Museum housed in an old drug store complete with soda fountain. Quilters will enjoy a quilt show displayed in the courthouse. Participate in and win prizes in the official adult and children’s period costume contest and cobbler baking contest. Children will also enjoy the games and crafts around the courthouse square and talking with Indians and cowboys.
