Hill Country band “Matt and the Mikes” have technically been playing music together, in some way or another, since the late 80s. The band consists of two brothers plus a brother from another mother playing together in a garage in Round Rock. They’ve always played what they like, with genres ranging from Classic Rock, to Outlaw Country, to Hard Rock. Matt (guitar) is a Llanite, Mike (drums) lives in Jonestown, and the other Mike (bass) lives in Kempner. Their musical influences include Merle, Waylon, Hank, Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Black Sabbath, and Deep Purple.
