September 2022 MEETING

Every year in September, we elect officers and members of the Steering Committee. The Steering Committee consists of elected officers plus up to five additional members.
That's all about to happen at our September meeting. We will elect officers:
President
Vice-President
Secretary
Treasurer
We will elect up to 5 additional members of the Steering Committee.
The Steering Committee generally acts to handle the details of the LTP operation: scheduling meetings, presentations, meals, and all other details. The basic operating philosophy of the Steering Committee is that for most decisions, we bring issues to the General Membership for discussion and action; for other less significant details, especially those requiring quick action, the Steering Committee will act when circumstances require.
We need all the help we can get on the Steering Committee, especially since several of the current officers and members are being forced to step down for family and/or personal reasons.
Please consider placing your name in nomination for any of the above positions. We can use all the help we can get. This is a chance to help lead our group!
Also, during the meeting, we need to have extensive discussions regarding our direction and priorities for the upcoming year. Please get all your thoughts together and join us at Inman's.

It's important for us to have a good head count to ensure that enough food is on hand; however, please remember that if you must cancel, please do so no later than the Tuesday before the meeting or reimburse us for the reserved meal.
