Mission Statement for the Friends of the Llano County Night Sky

Why: As the population of Llano County increases, the concern for the quality of the night sky also increases.  The night sky over Llano needs to be preserved for its citizens, visitors and future generations of this county.

 What: The Llano County Friends of the Night Sky  is a group of business and non-business citizens coming together to provide awareness of the need to preserve the night sky over Llano county.  This group is actively working to provide lighting awareness and other benefits associated with maintaining a quality night sky over Llano County.
